Our August au pair meeting will take place on Friday, August 6th at 7.30pm at the Kendall Ice Arena at 10355 Hammocks Blvd, Miami, FL 33196, Phone: 305-386-8288.
We will have a brief meeting before everyone goes ice-skating. The Friday night admission costs $11.00 and includes skate rental, a Live DJ, light show, as well as skating until midnight. Our meeting will be over by 9pm but you are welcome to stay and enjoy the fun!
Our Continuing Education Program (CEP) is one very important way we impress upon our host families and prospective host families the importance of au pair safety training. Summer’s CEP meeting focusing on water and playground safety will take place on Sunday, July 11th 2010 at 12.30pm in the Pinecrest area. One of our host families offered to host the meeting, so the exact location will be e-mailed to the au pairs individually. All au pairs please print out and answer the quiz above and bring it with you to the meeting. Thank you.
Our June Au Pair will take place on Friday, June 18th at 7pm at Key Biscayne. One host family offered to host the meeting. The address will be e-mailed to each of you as we get closer to the date. Each au pair, please bring a wrapped up present (value $5.00 - $10.00) to the meeting. Do NOT tell anyone what you bought as we will have a Chinese gift exchange to celebrate everyone’s birthday! I will bring a cake for everyone. If it does not rain we will be using a pool area, if it rains we will use a conference room. Please bring your bathing suit if you want to swim. Also bring drinks for yourself and good mood! See you there!

We will join a group of au pairs from Ft. Lauderdale and Delray Beach area and have a beach volleyball match. We will also have an option to barbecue (please bring food and drinks for yourself) so we can have a picnic. There will be an opportunity to swim and sunbathe also, so don’t forget to wear a bathing suit!
